Hello friends of the vintage find,
I am back after enjoying a nice week with my best friend. It is wonderful what spending time with someone you love does to your perspective on life. My heart is full!
A week that started well and ended much better. I am happy to report that the flood gates have opened at the thrift stores. It is truly marvelous to find more than a couple good things in one stop. I hope I am not jinxing myself by writing about it.
See what I mean? Look at this beautiful vase. Designed by Los Angeles muralist Raul Coronel and made by Treasure Craft of California c. 1970. Thanks to Marci of Sputnik Housewares who helped me with the ID.
The same day that I found the vase, I found these three wonderful Tonala figurines designed by Jorge Wilmot. Whimsical and fun.
Not one but two Landert fondue pots! These are much loved by my Etsy customers, and I am more than happy to keep finding them for the store. Don't you crave some fondue just by looking at these? Listed here.
My last find from the thrift store is this retro vase. It is not marked and it feels newer to me. I have yet to find more information on it.
Now for my favorite finds of the week (which in thrifter code means that these are things that I would love to keep!) Look at this gorgeous Royal Copenhagen Aluminia vase. I can't stand the beauty! Found today at an estate sale. It was a very good sale.
A good sale indeed! My FIRST Martz lamp! Eeeek! I am thinking I need to make sure this lamp works well before I list it. Don't you think?
These two glasses are just a small taste of the amazing load found at the estate sale. A pitcher, sugar and creamer, four cordial glasses, seventeen old fashion glasses, and ten tumblers from iittala Ultima Thule line. I had not found much of this line before today, and now I know why it has such a following. Listed here.
If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw my sea of Scandinavian glass. I can't believe my good luck!
I have a couple of posts planned for the blog, I just have to find the time to write them. I will be back for sure next week. Sharing this week with A Living Space, Remnant and Sir Thrift a Lot.
