Thrift Finds: A first one for me

Hello friends of the vintage find,

I am happy to report that I have found my first C. Jere wall sculpture! and I like it! Many of his designs are not that appealing to me, but this one is really nice. I like the lone butterfly hiding amongst the golden leaves. This thing is large! It measures about 58" long. I have to either sell it fast or hang it on a wall for good :)

That was the extent of my thrift finds for the week, that is until Friday afternoon when I found myself near a little consignment store that I visit sporadically. These smalls came home with me:

A C. Alan Johnson Inuit Figurine. This little one is called Silook and it reminds me a little of Lisa Larson's Children of the World figurines. This cutie is already listed in the store.

My first Royal Copenhagen Aluminia mug! I didn't know these were so large! This one was designed by Anne Marie Trolle and it has a sterling silver round disk on the bottom where it was inscribed.

A couple of mod Takahashi ashtrays. Breaking my no ashtray rule once again. But these are just too good to pass up. Listed here and here.

If you are interested in any of my finds, do not hesitate to contact me with your questions. I offer discounted prices to my blog readers!

Our latest Taste Setters sale Into the Woods begins tonight at 6PM PST. Bring your blanket and your hot cocoa.
