Thrift Finds: Vessels and wood

Hello friends of the vintage find,

This past week was a good one. I found and old friend again - A Lev Kari teak bull figurine - this one is not signed but it is identical to the one I sold a while ago. He was one of the most loved listings I had for a while! Let's see if his brother is as lovable...

I adore mid-century ikebana vessels. They are sculptural on their own, and such a great complement to a good arrangement. Look at that texture!

I found the next vase at the flea market on Sunday. I knew it had to be something of quality. Only when I got home was I able to read the mark. This is a Vicke Lindstrand vase made for Boda. So delicate and ethereal.

The following glasses are cased glass by Carlo Moretti. Look at the stylized silhouette and long stem on these goblets! I found 10 of them. Just wonderful and whimsical.

Another Ikebana piece. This one is an original studio piece signed by the artist. Another gorgeous vessel!!

Last, it is my newest keeper. An Evelyn Ackerman Panel carving with six different medieval inspired figure carvings.

  4. Nice finds! We kept our EA panel too for now, it didn't fit on any wall so we had to just lean it against the side of wall on the hallway table
