Thrift Finds: Delayed

Hello seekers of vintage,

I'm posting this a day late, but life keeps getting in the way of my regular posts! Lots of good things happening at the moment, I'll share with you when I can.

Some of this week's finds are from last Sunday's visit to the flea market. Like this wonderful and large ram's head sculpture. I believe this is a Jaru of California piece from the 1980's. listed here.

I also found my second Vicke Lindstrand vase made for Boda in as many weeks! They look so good together. Lised as a set here.

Found some more glass at the thrift store. Three iittala Ultima Thule dessert bowls, I added them to the other two I had, and they are listed as a set here.

More iittala glass, this time four tsaikka cups designed by Timo Sarpaneva. My firsts! They are lovely! Listed here.

Last of the weekly finds: a very nice bronze hand sculpture (I believe this is a vintage Thai Buddha hand, need to research more), a wood carved vase by Nikolai Ossipov (his work is in several permanent collections, I need to do some more research!) and another Bennington Potters bank! I have three different ones now!

What do you think of my finds this week? What did you find? Share with us at A Living SpaceSir Thrift a Lot and Thrifter Maker Fixer Farm.

If you would like more information on any of my finds you can always contact me. I give discounted prices to my blog readers.

  1. I noticed you didn't provide a link to the shop for those lovely silver and glass cups! They are my newest "want"!

Very lovely, as usual. Can't wait to hear updates on the great happenings!

  4. The hand is pretty neat. I have/had a hand collection. I stopped collecting them a couple years ago, but they still remain inside my home. Not ready to finger walk their way out.

  5. The glaze on the ram's head is fantastic. As usual, an education for me, seeing what you find.
